THE FOCUS
AMC partnered with the Wyoming Office of Tourism and its agency of record to position Wyoming as a year-round travel destination by elevating lesser-known locales, reinforcing the “That’s WY” brand platform, and promoting responsible travel through the “WY Responsibly” initiative. Targeting national media as well as key drive and fly markets, the yearly integrated campaigns highlighted Wyoming’s Western culture, outdoor adventure, landscapes, culinary offerings, and shoulder-season travel opportunities to drive visitation and support sustainable tourism growth. To execute these strategies, AMC led an ongoing PR program spanning earned media, paid partnerships, influencer collaborations, immersive market activations, press and influencer trips, and more than 15 virtual desksides annually with top-tier media, helping keep Wyoming top-of-mind as an authentic, year-round destination.

The Results
Through a multi-channel media strategy, we increased Wyoming's visibility across national lifestyle, travel, and outdoor publications. Influencer partnerships helped drive awareness in key markets, while earned media placements reinforced the brand’s authenticity and adventure-forward appeal. Our efforts supported increased engagement with “That’s WY” messaging and contributed to the state's broader goals of sustainable tourism and economic impact.
